Construction of new small rest areas on the highway network

As subcontractors, we participate in the construction and renovation of small rest areas on the entire network of Slovenian highways. In addition to removing old lighting and installing new lighting, we also carry out other electrical work.

The extensive project of renovation of small rest areas on the highway network under the management of the DARS group is one of the largest projects in Slovenia in which they are currently present. A total of 14 rest areas across Slovenia will be renovated, 7 locations are being renovated in the first phase. Javna razsvetljava d.d. Public lighting d.d. offers its services at:

  • complete renovation of electrical installations,
  • execution of internal installations of the building,
  • new cabling all the way from the transformer stations onwards,
  • production of electrical cabinets for each rest area,
  • installation of the video surveillance control system,
  • setting up a wireless internet network,
  • material supply, removal and recycling of waste generated when old rest areas are removed,
  • production of additional technical documentation.

Coloring the tunnel under the castle

In August 2022, Javna razsvetljava d.d. took over the painting of the tunnel under the castle in Ljubljana. In the tunnel, despite regular maintenance and washing, dirt accumulates on the walls, which must be removed and the tunnel repainted.
