The company Javna razsvetljava d.d. itself. originates from the company Javna razsvetljava Ljubljana, which started in 1899. Public lighting contributes to the image of the city both at night and during the day.
Javna razsvetljava d.d. d.d., as a concessionaire for the maintenance of public lighting, ensures uninterrupted operation and adequate lighting conditions for a pleasant stay of citizens, tourists and the operation of various services. With adequate lighting, we provide a safe environment for all residents, while at the same time protecting flora and fauna from excessive light pollution.

We fully manage the tunnel under the castle and the lamps at Ljubljana Castle.

In the municipality, we actively participate in the replacement of lighting, the installation of new lighting, we take care of its operation, and we also provide New Year’s decorations and the installation of road flashing lights.
