SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT

REMOTE CONTROL

Control and management of lighting is one of the most important development axes in the field of lighting. Remote management enables faster detection of network errors, remote change of lamp scenarios, consumption monitoring, dynamic control with the help of various internal and external databases. In addition to the additional reduction in electricity consumption, it enables faster changes and adaptation to the needs of the residents and clients of the facilities. With adaptability, we reduce both costs and increase people’s safety, and we contribute to less light pollution.

Javna razsvetljava d.d., offers a complete own and verified system of smart lighting management. The system solution enables the control and management of the lighting of individual ignition points and lamps on the respective ignition points. Control is enabled for an individual lamp, a partial group or an entire group of lamps. With the help of smart communication between lamps, it is possible to ensure better lighting management at individual facilities. In addition to remote control, the smart system enables data exchange and lighting control with external databases, such as weather databases, traffic databases, sensors for detecting the number of vehicles, people, lighting depending on the level of ambient lighting, as well as changing according to preset scenarios.

OWN SCADA SYSTEM

Due to real-time monitoring of the lighting, it is possible to observe and measure the consumption of the system itself, as well as to detect the failure of individual lamps or ignition points, to notify the field teams more quickly and to eliminate the error in the system. Integrated SCADA control enables precise insight into the operation of the system, into the behavior of the lighting operation to external databases, which makes such a lighting system classified as an IoT (Internet of things) system, which enables interdisciplinary data connection, smarter, less energy-consuming and ecologically more friendly lighting control. Control cannot take place without a database.

The company Javna razsvetljava d.d. has a house cadastre, which is directly connected to the SCADA control system we use. This connection enables accurate monitoring of the lighting, all errors and changes are recorded, which help to improve the lighting in buildings and on the streets. In addition to the savings in electricity consumption, smart lighting makes it possible to reduce the light pollution of the surroundings when there are no people or vehicles present in the building, or the frequency of traffic is very low. With increased traffic, however, lighting is adjusted to ensure adequate levels of illumination and adequate safety.

System JRL PRO

The JRL PRO system offers the following advantages:

  • consumption monitoring;
  • remote adjustment of lamp operation;
  • individual remote activation of the system;
  • management via the SCADA system;
  • connection of various detection sensors:
  • vehicle detection – loops, radars, motion sensors;
  • local weather stations;
  • adding cameras;
  • photocells on ignition points;
  • management with external databases: traffic bases;
  • weather bases.

Municipality of Ljubljana

Ljubljana, SLO

In the Municipality of Ljubljana, in addition to lighting maintenance, we also provide implementation of new public and indoor lighting projects, maintenance and installation of road flashing lights and traffic lights. We also take care of the thematic lighting of the castle and control the Tunnel under the Castle.

Municipality of Koper

Koper, SLO

The municipality of Koper is one of the largest municipalities in terms of the number of lamps that we maintain. In addition to ordinary maintenance, we also take care of renovations and updates, and we also put up New Year’s decorations, which have become very famous throughout Slovenia and abroad in recent years.

Lighting replacement in Šentilj

Šentilj, SLO

The municipality of Šentilj decided to replace the lighting in the entire municipality. In order to reduce lighting costs and achieve greater savings, 53 ignition points were replaced and renovated. The lighting in question is now remotely controlled via the company’s SCADA system, which was also developed at JRL.
